Smooth And Delicious.

Smooth and delicious. In one adjective I'm referring to a man, the other a drink.
Which is which? Read on.

Forgive me. This had to go first.
Tsk, Don't stay too close, Borg. HAHA

October 22, 2011 was suppose to be a pack-up-and-rest- for-Boracay night for me; but who could say no to the oh-so-tempting invite that Eden of Chic in the Tropics sent my way: THE BENMORE FOUR CASKS SCOTCH WHISKY LAUNCH. The launch/ press conference was held at the Diamond Suites and Residences. After party (which I missed) was at the newest club in the city, Alchology.

Funny, I am actually allergic to alcohol and I'm not a fan of drinking. However, Benmore mixed with iced tea is just perfect: smooth, tasteful, not too strong. You can also have your Benmore mixed with Cola, soda, water, or straight on the rocks. The elegantly-packaged bottle comes at Php 380/ 770 mL. It's good value for your money considering it's coming from the same Scottish company that produces favorites JohnnyWalker and Jose Cuervo.  Ofcourse, during the open forum, I asked the man what his favorite mix was and it was: on the rocks.

Benmore's market is more upscale thus the face behind the brand is no other than: THE BORGY. :))  *Insert heart shaped eyes here* As mentioned my brand manager Mr. Chua, Borgy is the perfect brand ambassador for Benmore: sleek, smooth, composed, confident. (Can I just add articulate and charming?) Benmore is a drink they want their market to enjoy responsibly and not get shamelessly drunk on.

Cebu has been one of their stops for this nation-wide bar tour/ campaign. To learn more about Benmore, do visit their website: http://benmorescotchwhisky.com

FIDA Grand Launch

Dress- Coccoon* Pumps- Janilyn* Clutch- Props
I like this even if it's blurry. Sorrryyy, I still get shy when being taken solo shots in public. hahahah.
And I am deeply sorry for the dates on my photos.
I forgot to take it out agaaain. :))

Decided to put on something easy to wear and instantly spells "event" since I'd be coming straight from work so I wouldn't have time to look into the mirror and style up. I also wanted to wear something bright and colorful since it was an art school launch I was going to after all. For some reason, midis and maxis make me feel good and comfortable, kind of urges me to be move more gracefully. Haha. Sick. It's my inner gypsy again, I guess.

 So, FIDA.

CAFA
Jay was nice enough to accompany the late. haha. All 4 Photos herein grabbed from FIDA

Last September 16, the Fashion Institute for Design and Arts opened their doors to Cebu. The FIDA grand launch was held at the rooftop of M2 Bldg, Escario, Cebu City.

I've always been hoping to enroll at a short course for fashion merchandising and Pattern-making/Sewing  to strengthen my background for BLINDxx. Fashion Design is something I'd want to learn about too but that's too much of a long shot since I'm an architecture apprentice, and that's truly time-and-energy consuming enough.

I have been getting updates from Designer Fashion Workshops but their workshops are held on Saturdays for a couple of months. Can. not. do. Not with my apprenticeship program. Maybe later when I have stable job and my license! :)) Their program is pretty good too! And SOFA! Anyway, gladly there's FIDA. I'm hoping to enroll later, when everything falls into place with my priorities. :)

Back to the launch, I came with my friend Wendy and my sister Ninz. Straight from the office into the CR, makeup in the car (really dark at the basement) and then off to the launch, and late as you would have guessed. Gladly my girls Ava, Rica, Hanna were there too, and a whole lot of people from CAFA (my alma mater) It just felt like CAFA all over again. I seriously missed my CAFA familyyyy.

After the launch, the girls went straight to East West to grab more bites. Trina, who just came from WYD showed up with Ding. Happy to see her despite how she makes me so jealous of the photos of Europe I've been seeing at her wall! HAHA Ily Trin! :))
